We are the youth section of Kennington Football Club, one of the oldest football clubs in Kent, dating back to 1888. We give over 300 boys and girls between the ages of six and sixteen the opportunity to enjoy playing Association Football; our ethic is to provide an enjoyable environment for those involved in youth football to enable them to focus on their footballing development and play to the best of their ability.

Our teams compete in the Kent Youth League, the East Kent Youth League and the Ashford & District Youth League. We have also seen many Kennington players move on to play for professional clubs, as well as representing Kent and England schools. We are proud to hold the status of an FA Community Club – the pinnacle of the club development pathway and one of the truest measures of success of a youth football organisation. Children are coached by fully qualified coaches, with first aid and child safeguarding knowledge, to develop both their individual techniques and their teamwork skills.

We utilise the excellent facilities of Ashford Hockey Club at Ball Lane in Kennington; some of the most enviable pitch facilities in Kent and undertake floodlit winter evening training at both the Hockey Club and Towers School Astroturf facilities.

We are a Club run by a team of dedicated volunteers and supported financially by sponsorship from community-minded businesses. We rely on the continuous support of volunteers and welcome enquiries from potential volunteers and sponsors who share our desire to give the children in our community something of value, through youth Association Football.
